October 13, 2019               FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Pulaski, PA)...In conjunction with the promoters of Stateline and Old Bradford Speedways and discussions with industry leaders, the Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Pro Mod Series powered by Pace Performance have made a mutual decision to allow legal Econo Mod competitors from the region's weekly tracks that hosted the division in 2019 the ability to compete in 2020 RUSH Pro Mod events; other speedway(s)/series Econo Mod rules packages will be considered upon review.  ALL competitors must be on the current RUSH Pro Mod Hoosier Tires, and bump stops will NOT be permitted.

The $15,050 Sweeney Weekly Series points fund with $3,500 to-win, $300 for 20th, which looks at drivers' best 12 finishes, will continue in 2020 for RUSH Pro Mod-legal member racers only.  Also, the annual "Manufacturers Night" presented by MSD Performance with over $12,000 of valuable product giveaways will be held at a location and date TBA.  All competing RUSH Pro Mod-legal racers will again be eligible to win a product package valued at a minimum of $300 on this night.  Total cash points funds and contingencies awarded to RUSH Pro Mod racers in 2020 is once again expected to exceed $27,000.

In addition to weekly racing at Stateline on Saturday nights and Old Bradford on Sunday nights, Genesee Speedway in Batavia, NY has expressed an interest to host a couple events, and it's expected the McKean County Fair race will return to McKean County Raceway in East Smethport. Pa. in August.

At all RUSH Pro Mod events, member racers will get credit for their finishes toward the 2020 championship points fund.  Econo Mod drivers will not be eligible for RUSH Championship points funds, but will receive local track points.

The 2020 season will mark year number five for the RUSH Pro Mods.  Justin Carlson was the inaugural champion in 2016, while Dennis Lunger, Jr. has won the last three titles.  Stay tuned for additional information and rules throughout the off-season; note Econo Mod rules enforcement will be the responsibility of each individual speedway.
